The new Animoji masks include Ghost, Koala, Tiger, T-Rex, and more. Two-factor authentication requires six-digit security codes to log in to your Apple ID account. You can use Animoji masks in Messages, iMessage, and Face ID to verify who you are.

Animoji:

Animoji is the new avatars introduced in iOS 12. They include wink, tongue, and winking detection. There is also a new interface for Animoji, which replaces the vertical selector. When you want to change the Animoji, you can swipe left or right to expand the menu. In iOS 12, more than 70 new Animoji will be available. Moreover, users can create their own Animoji with a special Memoji builder.

Voice Memos:

The new iOS 12 version of Voice Memos brings two key additions to this feature: Replace and Trim. This feature replaces audio with new audio and also restores the waveform screen for editing. You can also swipe left on the recording to access editing options. The new version also includes a dedicated insert/append mode that lets audio pros punch in notes over bum notes. The new Voice Memos app can be downloaded for free from the App Store.

New UI:

Besides the new UI, Voice Memos also come with some new features, like enhanced recording, skip silent mode, and faster playback speed. These improvements will make it easier for you to record voice memos, while at the same time enhancing the experience. The new version also adds iCloud support, which allows you to access recordings across devices. For those who like to make use of this feature, it is worth checking out.

Text and GIF effects:

In iOS 12, Apple introduced a new button called Effects, which combines existing features, like photo filters, iMessage stickers, and text annotations, into a single button. These effects are available on both iOS and Android devices. You can choose the desired effect and save it as a video. Once you’ve finished the video, you can share it on social media sites or send it to your friends.

Another feature:

Another cool new feature in iOS 12 is the ability to create your own animated GIF. You can choose from photos or videos, and use numerous filters to create your own unique GIF. This feature also gives you the option to use specific image settings, as well as share it on social media. You can use your favourite effects to tell a story or convey emotion with your text. Here are some of the most innovative ones:

Do Not Disturb mode:

Do Not Disturb is now a more intelligent mode that works with your location. It can be configured to run once an hour, until 7 AM, or until you reach your current location. To change when Do Not Disturb is active, tap on it and force-press it. You’ll then be presented with a series of options. If you want to turn off Do Not Disturb completely, turn it off first.

Improved notifications:

Improved notifications in iOS 12 bring a number of new features, including instant tuning. The new feature allows you to control notification settings, so you can choose not to receive alerts that buzz your phone. While Apple did not explain exactly how this new feature works, it ties in with the new focus on spending less time on your device. With this new feature, your notifications will appear quietly, enabling you to focus on other aspects of your life.

Augmented reality app:

Apple has made it possible to use an augmented reality app on your iPhone or iPad. The new version of the OS supports a new file format, which is perfect for the AR experience. You can easily share an image with your friends using a simple push button. And with the new ARKit support, it’s now possible to explore your local area without leaving your device.
